This summer, every week I was frequently asked, "What is happening at Hope East?"
Serving as the volunteer coordinator, I've had an up close view of each of the work days. At glance, it appears a building is being renovating. (And it is!) We've opened up space by tearing out rooms and walls, moving a lot of stuff and cleaning.
However, that is not all that is happening at work days. As I look back at these days at Hope East, I'll remember the community that was built from small groups serving and new people creating a church home. Most of all, I'll remember creating a space for the people we don't know yet in order for the gospel to spread, and building a legacy in the city of Minneapolis.
